Today’s Guest Post is written by Nicole @ Nicole’s Nickels! Nicole does an amazing job of compiling the best of Internet money makers and money savers. Whether your looking for coupons to save a little or ways to make money online, Nicole’s got you covered! On with Nicole’s Post:
I work a full-time day job outside the home and in my spare time (like in the evenings when I’m in my pj’s watching TV) I love to earn extra money doing surveys! Now, doing surveys online won’t make you rich but I do earn approximately $100 per month doing surveys – that’s my gas money! If you earn $3 per day doing surveys you’re there and it’s so easy!
The trick is to sign up with legit companies, to use an email address devoted solely to online surveys and/or deals, etc. That way you can log on when you have the time to complete the surveys as some days the sheer number in my inbox can be overwhelming! Sign up for as many survey companies as you possibly can. Your demographic may work better for some companies than others and you’ll never know unless you sign up.
Online surveys may ask for personal information pertaining to your income, assets, health, etc. Check each company’s privacy policy if you’re concerned, but most surveys report results in aggregate not individually. Remember to be honest and truthful in your responses. Rushed or hurried responses may mean disqualification.
Keep track of your earnings with each company. Some pay cash after each survey while with others you may need a certain amount to “cash out” and still others may award prizes or giftcards. I find it helpful to keep track to make sure I am receiving what I earned but also to see which companies are more lucrative for me and which surveys I will pick first to do from my inbox and which to pick last.
One of the best parts of doing surveys is that you’ll often be asked to test new products. The survey will not be advertised as a product test but you may get a hint at the end when asked outright if you’d like to test a product. I have received full-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toilet paper, and even frozen dinners that arrived on dry ice to my house to try!
Online surveys are an easy way to earn some extra cash. Survey companies that ask you to pay to join are a scam – you should NEVER pay to do a survey or join a survey company! The following are sites that I can suggest as legitimate based on my experiences with survey companies:
MySurvey
Opinion Outpost
Ipsos I-Say
SayNation
Epoll Surveys
