Bloggy Birthday Bash Day 3: PlasmaCar Giveaway

Welcome to day 3 of the Bloggy Birthday Bash! Today's giveaway is sponsored by PlaSmart!

As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for new, fun, interactive ways to get my kids playing. I have two very intelligent little girls and they like to use their imagination, motor skills and smarts when it comes to toys. I attempted to buy a few "electronic" toys and they were thrown to the side within a few minutes and the toys that did nothing were what they moved on to next. An object that does nothing + my girls = Parental bliss (and a quiet house)!

Introducing....The PlasmaCar!

What's a PlasmaCar?
The PlasmaCar by PlaSmart is an award-winning, fun, little ride on toy that uses our little one's best resource: Good ol' kid power! No batteries, no recharging and waiting all night, no loud motors and no fuel! All you need to get started is a PlasmaCar and a body and your ready to have some fun. PlasmaCar is manufactured by PlaSmart, a company who chooses products that are smart, simple, fun and unique and they avoid electronic toys and toys that are complicated to understand or operate! I love it!

Here's how it works....
To propel the PlasmaCar, you rotate the steering wheel continuously from left to right. It also works in reverse. To zoom backwards, just switch the set of four front wheels around so that the larger ones are closest to the front of the car. To stop your PlasmaCar, just cease rotating the steering wheel and, when the car slows, put your feet on the ground to bring it to a full stop-easy as pie. Think of it as a Segway for kids. The PlasmaCar can go an exhilarating but kid-safe 2.8 meters per second; that's over 10 km/h. Kids feel the need for speed-and this toy will give them exactly what they need!

Why do we love it?
My girls love to go outside and hop on their bikes, tricycles and ride on toys. But what about mom? I want to join in the fun too and with PlasmaCar I can! The PlasmaCar can hold up to 220 lbs. which means the whole family can hop on and take a spin! While Big Pea grabs her bike and runs circles around the driveway, I can jump on the PlasmaCar, place Lil' Pea in my lap and join in the fun. We pretend to go to Disneyland, the Island of Sodor and many other places, and the PlasmaCar let's me join in on the childish fun. The only problem is, Big Pea typically begs me for her turn on the PlasmaCar and then mom has to sit on the side and watch ;( The PlasmaCar is wonderful because it allows the whole family to join in on the fun, creating a great opportunity to interact with my girls on their level. I, of course couldn't leave out the fact that the kids love it too (sorry, got lost in my own fun with it)!

The award-winning PlasmaCar peforms best on smooth, flat surfaces and comes in an array of colors, including red, pink, purple, blue, green and yellow! It's rugged, it's durable and it is SO MUCH FUN! The PlasmaCar retails for only $69.99 and at that price, it's affordable for everyone in the family to own one! To learn more about the PlasmaCar or to get one of your own, just visit plasmacar.com or plasmarttoys.com. You can also follow PlasmaCar on twitter or visit their facebook page!

Win it!
Thanks to the nice people at PlaSmart, one lucky "Deal"ectible Mommies reader will win a PlasmaCar of their very own! Pretty exciting, huh? All you have to do is visit plasmacar.com and check out the video! The video is only a few seconds long and will auto play upon your arrival to the site. Come back here and tell me what you love about the PlasmaCar!
